Is 90% humidity too much for hermit crabs?

i misted my tank (there are no hermits in there) but i checked my hygrometer and it says 90% most people say it should be between 70%-80% but the box that it came in it said 70% plus.

What do you think?

  1. Double check your gages they may be wrong. those dials don't last long before they become dammaged and give wrong readings.

    Yes 90% is too high. You're running risk of mould and all sorts of nastys then.

    Keep it in the 70-80% range 85% tops


  2. i asked my friend and she said that is too much!!! 70-80% is prob right!!

  3. Don't put the crabs in at such great humidity let it drop to about 80%
