Having a 97 is decent but not the best. It's around average, most people these days score in the 90s. Mine was a 127 after taking a test in school for fun, and I'm 15 right now. So, it's not too bad, just be proud of what you or your child got, cause you are a lot smarter than some.

100 is average so you are clearly below average and will have to work very hard to keep up in 7th grade. You can do it! Don`t be afraid to get extra help  from the teachers or ask your parents to get you a tutor even before school starts to help you understand the material.

IQ is not everything. Be a person of character and be friendly to everyone you meet. Life is about more than academic achievement so don`t worry about not making the honor roll because that would probably be hard for you. All anyone can ask is that you do the best you can.

Um it isn't really good or bad. Was it an online test, because if it was it probably wasn't accurate. I am 14 and make strait A's in school and I took an online IQ test, and it said I had an IQ of 50, that is below retarded. LOL so if it was an online test you or your kid is probably a genus and if it was an accurate test you or your child is average.

It is really neither good nor bad. You need to take into consideration if the IQ test was legitimate or was it an online site that may not be real. Also, were you (or your child) actually trying and focused on the test. The fact that you (or he or she) is 12 is fairly irrelevant. An IQ in the 90's is normal, assuming that the test was accurate and taken seriously
