Never heard of it and that is low for a 250

Gixx has it right- quality control is a big issue with Chinese scoots (and cars, FAIK) so while you may be good for the first year or two, and they often go down fast, as parts and service are a problem. There's an earlier question on this board trying to find a battery for a no-name Chinese product- that's a hint.
