Question:

Is A Psychology Major Great For Law School?

I plan on majoring in psychology, but my sole goal is to enter law school and become an attorney. Will majoring in psychology help me prepare for law school and a career in law, and is it an appropiate major for law school? Does anyone know anybody that has majored in psychology and entered law school? Thanks.

  1. Psychology is very good major to prepare yourself for law school, in fact any of the social sciences are good majors to pursue: economics, psychology, philosophy etc.

  2. I majored in psychology and I know I would not be prepared for law school. You should major in political science or pre-law/humanities. You want to have that basic knowledge before you take your LSATs and graduate level courses.
