Is A Shinia considered a weapon in any means?

I'm thinking about doing a thing for school, that's kindof like a talent show, but my talent is an act in which requirs a shinia, but weapons are obviously not allowed in schools

So i need to know before hand if a shinia is considered a weapon in any means
