Is A level chemistry/biology very hard?

I got all A/A*s in my GCSEs.

I'm not really sure what career path I want to follow so do you think it is a good idea for me to keep my options open by choosing biology and chemistry. I was gioing to choose subjects like politics and geography instead but dont think they are very useful.

Is it worth the hassle to do sciences even though I may want to do something like law instead of medicine?

I have heard chem is very difficulkt and is there a lot of math involved because I find that very boring.

  1. You need chem/bio in order to get into medical school. Let me put it this way, if you work your butt off and can't do well in those classes, you will find medical school impossible. The entrance exams are 100 times harder than anything you have ever seen before. This isn't to scare you, but to tell you that those classes will make the entrance exams easier (you will still have to study for a few hundred hours though).

  2. hey  first of all well done. I'm doing chemistry and biology along with eng lang and psychology. I was thinking of doing medicine but i didnot get the grades for it. It is a very rewarding career along with law but in my view medicine is better. Anyways, chem/bio aren't as hard as physics and yes chemistry does involve math, not a lot but a little bit, and bio is Ok or so i heard. Anyways good luck =)
