Is AARP worth the money?

Do they really offer good benefits?

I've got it for my mother, and she loves the magazines, they send out, plus the Monthly bulletin. They do have a lot of good advice for seniors, and their Insurance policies are pretty good.

I know there are discounts, with the card they issue, but I don't think she's ever used it, for that. But for the small fee, I would say, yes it's worth it.

If you are asking about the membership, I'm beginning to doubt that, but as for the insurance it seems to be one of the better ones. They couldn't beat the coverage I have both in terms of premiums or amount on my house and car, however, so you really have to comparison shop.  But, I've kept the membership in case when my hubby retires we need supplemental health insurance at a good rate.
