Is AFL the most popular sport in the world ?

I don't think there is any doubt about it! The AFL will have 7 million people pass through it's gates by seasons end, not bad for a country of only 21 million, yeah that's right NRL nuff nuffs, 7 ,000,000 read 'em and weep, how many of you sidinee people go to your beloved NRL???

And I don't want excuses, like NRL is only not played nationally like AFL, you know why it's not because the people of Australia have made it clear NRL is not as popular as you would have us believe, Russell Crowe summed it up perfectly the NRL is the poor cousin of Australian sport...DISCUSS

Football(Soccer) brings in 100Million+ people annually

I was speaking to a mate of mine who lives in Los Angeles and he thought AFL was some type of Indian clothing. So yeah, AFL is the most "popular" sport in the world.
