Is AIBA approved headgear also USA Amateur Boxing approved?

I'm looking for new and better headgear. My old Everlast headgear fell apart after about a year and a half of heavy use. I'll never buy Everlast again!

Anyway, I'm looking up headgear by Cleto Reyes and Grant, much better brands. I have gloves by Reyes and I know Grant is quality because I know people who have had it for years.

Grant says USA boxing approved, but i cant find any without cheek guards (they annoy me).

The Cleto Reyes ones say AIBA approved. I looked it up and saw its for international competition. Would it be acceptable for USA Amateur Boxing?
