Is AIM reliable on the pantech duo phone?

i have a pantech duo but whenever i sign into aim with it, it lags and i can't seem to send and receive many aim messages. Is there something that can be fixed?

that completely depends on your service.  if your signal shows u're in 3G mode, it should be fine.  when u are traveling, those are the times u may come into laggin issues, as u are jumping between service areas.
