Is AMD Turionâ„¢ 64 X2 mobile technology TL-60 processor great or just okay??

Runs warmer than Intel ? I have both and it runs cooler.

It is Duo Core so its a good processor. Just depends on the speed of the processor and how much RAM you have.

AMD Turion™ 64 X2 mobile- TL 60 is really a good processor and ranked very high in terms of  CPU benchmarks...

You can also go with TL 64 if you can afford....

It's okay in the sense that it gets the job done. I have an HP Pavilion laptop that runs on that processor and so far I haven't had any problems. I don't run any crazy applications but have used it for office software, surfing the web, listening to music and watching DVDs without any problems. If that's all you'll be using it for then AMD Turion 64 x2 is just fine. However, I will mention that they tend to run a little warmer than intel's core 2 duo processors.
