Is AP or IB the better choice?

Hey, I'm a rising Juinor in high school and i'm confused right now about whether or not i should do the IB program. I already did all the Pre-IB stuff my 10th grade year so i'm prepared for it. I just want to know if it is worth it and how will colleges view it compared to AP classes? I'm so confused right now!

i know someone who did IB and went to cornell

my school doesn't offer it, unfortunately, so i'm stuck with AP's

but i heard the IB program looks really good

With IB, you can get an IB diploma, for what it's worth

Also, you can take AP tests after taking an IB class, but not the other way around

That said, taking individual AP classes offers more choice than the rather rigid IB program

Colleges view IB and AP comparably, with a slight edge to AP, as they are more familiar with it

both of them are good and can help u when u go to college or university

Both look good, though more are familiar with AP, I would go with AP because you get to choose which classes you want to take (ex. All Science AP, math, etc...).
