yes but ask any PHP developer he will say yes we have scripts and we can use it but its a mess in coding and cant customise it. there are jargons like spegatti coding and messy code. unoptimized code around in php community. to use it properly you need to have some dicipline in coding methodology which develops with time.

php is best ever, u can find h**l lot of ready made scripts and open source frameworks.

I guess both have their advantages and disadvantages. it all depends on how its used. a novice programmer can make PHP h**l and a good planned use of ASP.Net can make it much better than PHP. ASP.NET takes burden off from programmers and handles most of resposibilities and complexities itself.
