Is ASPCA reliable?

I have been looking in to ASPCA where they save the animals, but I am still trying to figure out if I can trust it. You know how sometimes they don't do what they say they do with the money they recive. I want to be sure that if I donate I know that the money is going to the safety of an animal and not for anything else. Does anybody know where the money goes?

  1. Go to www.give.org and click into the left where it says charity reports. Then go to ASPCA and look at the pie chart about administrative costs. There is also an association called American Humane Society which also includes childrens well being as well as animals. Then there is of course PETA which I note is quite active now with horse racing abuse.  There are also international organizations like the World Wildlife Fund. So many orgs but you are smart to look into them. I find that most regarding animals have very good people working with them as opposed to some other charities like Cancer walks etc.
