Question:

Is Aang the Avatar related to Prince Zuko?

I read somewhere on-line, http://avatar.wikia.com/wiki/Zuko, at the bottom, that Aang is spiritually related to Zuko because Avatar Roku was Zuko's maternal great grandfather.

Does that mean that it is his grandfather on his mother's side? What does that make Aang and Zuko? Are they cousins? Or grandson and grandfather?

Aang is all the avatars in different form. SInce Zuko is Avatar Roku's great-grandson Avatar Roku is Aang. So that means Aang is spirtually Zuko's grandfather....

Aang is spiritually Zuko's grandfather ever since he was named the next avatar. But since he wasn't related to Avatar Roku, he really isn't related by blood, only spiritually. (Avatar Roku was Zuko's grandfather on his mom's side and Aang is all previous avatar spiritually.)

No. Its just that Aang's previous life was a relative of Zuko's great grandfather. But Aang himself is not actually related.

That's also what I thought!

But, according to Zuko's uncle, Iroh- it was said that Avatar Roku was the father of Zuko's mother.

This is why I thought Aang and Zuko were cousins but it doesn't really make any sense because, Aang is not related to Avatar Roku what so ever.

They are only spiritually, but not really related by blood. (This is because Aang is not blood related to Avatar Roku. He is spiritually related to Avatar Roku when he became the avatar, since he is spiritually connected to all the past avatars.)

yes, Zuko has 2 Great grand-Fathers, one from the mothers side and one from the dad's side!

THE GREAT- GRAND - Father from the Dad's Side is =Sozin

THE GREAT- GRAND - Father from the Mom's Side is =Sozin

AND SINCE AANG AND ROKU ARE THE SAME BEING WID THE SAME BLOOD THT MAKES ZUKO AND AANG ANCESTRIAL BROTHERS (or u could say aang is like zuko's grand-dad)
