Question:

Is Aaron Rodgers a genius?

In July, he took flak for saying that the Green Bay fans need to get on board.

Now, kids are swearing at him and his Green Bay fans are booing him.

I guess Aaron knows the Packers fans better than they know themselves.

  1. The whole thing is ridiculous and Green Bay fans are complete idiots if they don't think he was the way to go.  Favre's shenanigans about coming back for half a decade now were going to eventually lead to them having NO QUARTERBACK after he retired (eventually) and then they would have sucked for a while because no one would want to come to Green Bay.  At least with Rodgers, they'll get 7 wins at least this year, and will be on top again in a few years.

  2. So your saying Rodgers is a genius because he told the Packer fans to get on board?

That does not prove he is a genius.

If he reversed time then he would be a GENIUS.

  3. Maybe but he HAS NOT won a game yet. In football winning is the name of the game. This is not Jeopardy!!

  4. No he is not a genius. Einstein was a genius. But Rodgers is going to be fine eventually in Green Bay. Everybody just needs to relax. Gah !

  5. in order for Aaron Rodgers to clear,up all this mess he has to do something that so far in his entire pro career. He has yet to do start 16games and win at least 10 anything less then that. And everyone in the world will know the packers are rebuilding lets see what he can do but.I for one am somewhat sepctial of his abbilitys, and skills.Seeing he has yet to prove anything..he has to take this team to the superbowl in his frist yr as a starter or he will be known as the one who could not win anything in his entire career

Packers will be 6-10 or 7-9 perhaps 8-8 but i dont see them makeing the playoffs as a wild card or division winner...with Rodgers at the helm being the qb...Lets hope he learns fast and oh did i mention hope all teams take him out.

  6. Green Bay fans are like that little boy with the beat up Teddy Bear with one eye that they had for years. They don't want to give it up, because they have had nothing else.

When the Patriots Drew Bledsoe got hurt back in 2001. Pats fans didn't know what what going to happen next when Tom Brady took the stage. It worked out for them. Packers Fans need to shut their mouths and give Rodgers a chance.

Rodgers played great during preseason last year. Have to watch him this year and see his potential.

  7. No, he's a moron. He's done bit off more than he can chew.

  8. Packer Fans are idiots  they should hate the mamager not Rodgers the players dont have a say

  9. ummmmm no?

    I don't understand your question

  10. Your question is hard to follow.

  11. Just smile and nod the head

  12. He might be as smart as favre and star.  If he sticks to it, I am sure rogers will see his fare share of superbowls.  :)

  13. He had every right to say that. It's not his fault that Favre was a crying little girl who couldn't make up his mind. It's not his fault that the management couldn't handle the situation properly. He wasn't the one who forced the issue of who would start. He's simply a QB who went out and did his job. He practiced, learned the offense, got to know his teamates, and did everything he was supposed to.

Then the moron fans who can't get their heads out of Favre's keister have to sling c**p his way like he did something wrong. Favre wasn't going to lead the Pack to the Bowl no matter what. Rodgers maintained his poise throughout the entire ordeal, and the only thing he said was to either get on board or shut up about it. Granted his word choice was poor, but the sentiment was fair.

Whining about it changes nothing. Favre was/is gone, and Rodgers is the next QB. Yelling that you hate him won't change that. The only thing it might do is add more pressure to him (like he doesn't have enough already) and might s***w him up. That's doubtful, seeing how he's handled everything so far, he knows how to remain cool under pressure.

The Pack was strong last year, in spite of Favre, with Rodgers at the helm, they'll likely still take the division. All he needs to do is win 1 playoff game, and the finicky fans will love him. It's sad though, because anything less than that, and they'll be calling for his head, even though none of this was his fault.

  14. That prolly wasn't the best thing to say but he was right. Aaron rodgers is the packer qb and you need to accept it or shut the h**l up.

I'm surprised that he has been so composed through all of this. A lesser man would have already went Ryan Leaf on the media.

No matter how much they hate aaron winning heals all wounds. If lombardi replacement got 12 wins and a NFC championship. They would have been singing his praises.

I think thats whats going to end up happening in the this situation.
