Brett Favre had been offered $20 mil for 10 years for him to stay retired. I heard through someone that Rodgers told the Packers management that he would be willing to sit the bench for another year for $15 mil. Is this true?

  1. I doubt it.  Farve is set to make over $12 million this season and on top of that they would pay $15 million to Rodgers to wait another year?  The Packers would be spending $27 million just to let Farve play another year...that would be stupid.  The Packers are better off letting Rodgers play and Farve taking the $20 million over 10 years.  Rodgers 2008 salary is $510,160.  They could get away with only spending $2,510,160 saving alot of money against the cap.  The Packers can use that money towards Grant who they are trying to offer a new deal.

Farve is done in Green Bay, the sooner fans realize that the better of they will be.  It is time to support your team and your new QB.

  2. i dont think its fair for favre to say his retire then come back he should go to another team....but yea it is true...

  3. i dont think so in interviews he said he is ready to play and i dont think he would be willing to ..... i think he really wants to play

  4. No, why would he want to?

He is all ready for the next season and gotten his hype going.

  5. no

  6. i dont think its true because brett favre loves football, him sitting on the bench n watching his team mates play, will make him fell depress.O n by  the way i think brett favre wants to leave greenbay n the only reason he might be staying is beacuse greenbay wants real bad they can let go of him, just like my girlfriend, i cant let go of her too

  7. Let me guess. A bird told you about this.

  8. That doesn't make sense everybody wants to be "the man"and if he did say that? Then the Packers really do have the wrong guy.

  9. NO! if the PACKERS, back down to Favre, after giving Rodgers, their backing, He's GONE!!!

  10. i read that too I don't think roders want to sit out any more

  11. LOL.
