Is Absorbine Veterinary Liniment safe to use on humans for joint pain? ?

I have stuff it is in a Yellow bottle with a picture of a horse on it. It says it is for horses. Is this stuff safe to use on human joints?

I use it frequently on my knee (I have tendonitis and just recently sprained my knee). It was recommended by an elderly friend who has been using it for years. I am completely sold on it. Just don't smother yourself in it, and you'll be fine.
