Is Abu Dhabi a good place to live?

Any advice from someone who has been there? I am thinking of moving.

It is purely based on your earning status,  I have some friends who were working over there.  It is good place to live.  Cost of living when compare to Dubai its little cheaper.

Safety and security part absolutely no problem.

I have a friend who goes to school in the U.S. but his parents live in Abu Dhabi. He talks about it all the time like it's the most awesome place. I imagine it's really nice if you have money, but not so much if you're part of the underclass there.

I lived and worked there few years back, I miss it too much, wish i can go back there.

It really depends on the person - and where they are from, but generally, yes, its a great place to live - not sure about costs though.
