Is Acer a reliable brand of laptop?

Question

They seemed to better specs than other laptop at same price. Is it better to stick to brands like Dell and Toshiba.

I've got an Acer laptop and it works rather well.  It has good specs for the price.  My only warning to you is to check out some other websites for information on the specific model you are purchasing.  Mine came with an inferior wireless card to the one that the Acer website said it had.  It also has one less memory bay than the Acer website said it had.

I have an Acer Aspire 5920G and it is working fine for me, and is good value for the price.

Acer is about the second best laptop falling short to Lenovo because the LCD is about the best in monitors right now plus most of Acer has just the the stuff you need and they put more value in parts you cant upgrade because why pay for ram when you can upgrade it later.

I currently have a dell laptop and it is working great. Before this I had Acer which created alot of problems, forcing me to buy a new one. And I think I made the right choice.

I had an acer 5100. had nothing but trouble. Get another brand
