  1. I have several problems with your question.

1)Are you actually being in serious consideration for a role in a feature film, or is it just the beginning auditions.

    2) How'd you get an audition without prior experience?

    3) Of course it's hard. Acting is listening, feeling, bring up emotions from the deepest part of your body, movement and a lot of stuff. Unlike other things where the better you are, the quicker it takes you to finish it, how good you are at Acting is measured in the amount of time and effort you put into a role. It's not memorizing lines and hope you can say them right.

  2. Um. You're kidding, right?

Acting is one of the most difficult things in the world. You can't just read lines, you have to completely become someone else, mentally and emotionally (and physically!).

I don't mean this to sound rude, but the simple fact that you asked means you probably won't get the role. Is this a real motion picture? If so, are you just going to an open call? If you are, that's probably not even for a part - those are typically for casting extras (and even that can be difficult to get).

  3. um...no offence but if you have no idea about acting your proably not going to make this movie.... but

Depends, I've been acting for so long it's not difficult for me anymore( no proablem with lines, no proablem with stage fright)

So it will proabley be hard for you if it's a first time thing...

    just remeber confidence is key!

    don't be nervous

    and don't get stupid lol

    Good Luck

  4. If u wanna get the in the movie hav confidence! Your not supposed to be asking this. Be true and be sure! Acting is not hard to me and I have gone to an audtion before. dont worry!

  5. it's not hard read the script a couple times till you understand what that person is like..

then it'll be easy to get into character

  6. Yes and no. It's hard because so much of it is technical; you have to hit yoru marks, turn on cue, react, act, and make sure you are "in the moment" take after take after take after take, etc. Yet still seem 'normal' in performance.

Be honest at your audition. Show you are willing to learn and can take direction easily. Let THEM to THEIR job; whilst you do yours (too many people worry about the crew looking at them, or make unnecessary suggestions - mainly on low budget or student films), and above all, be YOURSELF. Have fun!! That's 90% of it.

it's also true that they pretty much know the moment you walk in whether or not you are who they are looking for in a role. That isn't mean; just reality. There's a certain X-factor that they want, and if you have it, there you go. You'll still have to audition, maybe several times.
