Question:

Is Adebayor good enough for Arsenal?

Adebayor was a joke today! Thierry Henry in his position would have made the game 2-0, 3-0, 4-0. He is greedy and then becomes aware of it after 5 missed chances but then chooses the wrong moments to try and prove he isn't greedy and messes up every time. Is he good enough for Arsenal F.C? Personally I think not, why didn't Wenger sell him?

  1. he does miss loads of chances, but has somthing special up his sleev like henry had.

there's no one better out there who can be a striker for us out there, if i'm honest, soon as . but we can question van persie...

  2. Come on mate give him a chance. He did amazingly well last season and in pre-season. I'm sure he'll find his place. (Nasri was great :) )

  3. Wenger won't be dumb to sell him after just 1game in the new season. He'll show his worth as the EPL campaign progresses.

  4. Yes but hes not the 30 million wenger thinks he is thats why no club would buy him

    he's like most strikers

one good season , one bad , this is his bad one

he'l get 10 goals max this season

  5. Wenger is keeping him as a Banker striker cuz Arsenal must pay 25 million pounds per year to cover up the Emirates Stadium.

  6. its a bit harsh to judge him on one game. he is inconsistent and he cant just be judged on the number of goals he scores but hes not all bad. its bad that he was booed, its understandable but at the same time, he's here to stay so we better just live with it. i'll bet if ronaldo has a blinding season man utd fans will forgive him for wanting to leave, same with ade. but i agree, we should have sold him, especially if he has a bad season this time and his value falls. i would've sold him for £20m, but at the same time, considering david villa was so expensive and didnt seem to want to leave, i dont know who we could've signed to replace him. not eto'o, that guy has had serious injuries lately and is disruptive. i think wenger kept him cos in the end, he did a job last season, and he still gives arsenal the ground and aerial dimension that other strikers wouldnt be able to. the only replacements i cant think of are either too expensive or just wouldnt come; drogba, ibrahimovic, villa et al

  7. Yes you got him mate so you deserve him!

  8. if you don't want him we'll have him at Everton

  9. should of sold him when we had the chance, shouldn't be allowed to hold our club to ransom. give him the high wages if and when he deserves it.

  10. Are you seriously judging him after one poor performance at the beginning of the season? He's clearly rusty. He will get better as the campaign progresses. Not to mention, most of the team underperformed today.

Come back here at the end of the season and ask this question.

  11. he wastes chances and he got a poor touch but once in a while he produces magic...like in th tottenham game last season.

  12. One poor game cannot be used to judge is overall performance. Fact is, he is one of the hardest working players in the world and gives his 100% every game.

He probably played badly to p**s off those Muppet supporters who booed him

  13. When I talk with people who do not want him at Arsenal, they often say because he is so inconsistent (or they do not like his personality).  It is soo frustrating with a striker like him because you have no idea if he will score big when it counts or just be a wasteful talent.

I am not sure that we can judge his performance for the club in the future based upon this one game...but he definitely has a lot to prove this season!
