  5. I did a report on the story a year or so ago.

    The story originated in China, I forgoten what era, but when Islamic was like super huge. The setting is in a fictional land, where everyone did have Arab names. The ruler in the story is either Persian or Chinese, though most sources I read said Persian many of them noted that it was arguable. Seeing how the setting is made up and that its a Chinese story that has its characters with Arab names, I really do not thing you could put nationality on Aladdin, if thats what youre asking. Hope that helped.
