  1. The wages are higher and there are more jobs.  Houses not cheap in any of the cities.  Calgary is more expensive than Toronto.

  2. yeah ontario is better

  3. Calgary is an awesome city, it's clean and the people are more friendly then in Toronto. Both cities are expensive to live in, but I don't think Calgary is any more expensive then living in Toronto.

Plus Albert ahas the wonderful Mountains which are a bonus for those who like them.

  4. I personally love Alberta.   We have the mountains as well so that's a huge bonus.   In Calgary itself housing prices are high but are leveling off nicely.  Outside of Calgary it's not as bad.

    There are jobs everywhere too.

  5. I would prefer Ontario anytime over Alberta.  Please choose to work in Ontario.

  6. If you like shovelling snow for a living then yes Calgary is the place to be. You can be employed about 10 months out of the year. In fact today we are expecting a good whack of snow with more to follow in the comming days.

My suggestion is to go to Ontario where the weather is better, people are more educated and cultured, and you have affordable housing. Out here in the land of rednecked gapped toothed mullet wearing neanderthals there is not much to do anyway.

  7. i moved from vancouver to a smaller oilfield town not far from edmonton the wages are very high and the cost of living is cheap..... however edmonton and calgary are quite expensive to live
