Is Aldi a good company to work for?

I'm looking for a part-time job and a new Aldi store is opening in my area. Just wondering if anyone has experience working for them.

  1. haven't heard of that store in US but is a UK store i guess...but i work for Target for seasonal job and they work you and work you hard...but the money is okay is a little above minimum wage...so just try it if you don't like it quit after a month or two or three...until you fine something better...and has long has they work with your schedule for your other activities...and respect it so you keep yourself over board...


  2. well the money is very good..like 6.50-7 p.h. cos you have to whizz the stuff thru the tills very fast and be polite all the time!  my cuz is doing a xmas stint there.

  5. As long as you can work on the till by the door,and are allowed to take your work home,it's great! No,seriously.Since he gave up boxing,he hasn't been paying all that well.You might have missed the boat,so to speak.You could always try Netto?

  8. No....I always see a security gaurd in aldi's..and thats not a good sign...

    I dont like shopping there cause ish be on the ground in piles...

    Picking thru sugar bags to find one that isnt busted, is not my way of saving money

  9. I heard the money was pretty hight, but you have to remember a lot of the prices.
