Does it really matter. Bliar apparently was, but look what it got us into. Seemed to have made no difference. Bush also is a self-confessed religious fundamentalist, but if anything, it just skewed his policies towards fanaticism and triumphalism. Not that Christianity itself advocated such policies; they came from the fundamentalist interpretation of the Scriptures. Salmon seems a decent chap and his separatist policies are most admirable and solidly based on the history of the Scottish people and their present aspirations.
