The holidays for banks are declared state wise under the Negotiable Instruments Act. All the offices of the banks operating in that state will be closed on that day. Whether it is Bank of Rajasthan or Bank of Bahrain it would be subject to the laws of the land. If you are talking of West Bengal, all banks will be closed today if it is a holiday today under the NI Act. In Maharashtra all the banks are closed today.
