Is Amana still a good company?

I bought all amana a few years back - no problems. This time around buying appliances I see they are considerably less (400 forcomparable size/type) Refridgerator and was concerned they are being made cheaply/poorly. Anyone know of changes?

Maytag bought Amana and Whirlpool bought Maytag. So they are all being made by Whirlpool.

Amana was a little pricey before they were bought out. I think the combination of the manufacturing has lowered the cost.

Whirlpool has made some changes but I do not have anything against Whirlpool, I like them,  so I wouldn't worry about it.

I have always believed Amana built quality products. Take a bit of time and look at consumer reviews or consumer complaints for Amana products on-line.  Sorry I don't have any direct addresses.
