Is America as it seems on TV?

Like on The Hills and Laguna Beach, not the people and their lives, but the general surroundings and the welcoming the americans seem to have, or is it staged to seem nice?

Its not as glamorous for everyone but everything else, most defenitely.

We are obsessed with clothes, and drama. very sad BUT TRUE.

and not everyone is that welcoming we arent happy little elves.

As mention on your other question:

America is a nice place to live.  I wouldn't live no where else in the world. However, The Hills and Laguna Beach is only Hollywood made-up to make money.  People here is just like other country we are working, into our family and trying to enjoy what life we can.

I don't think Hollywood ever portray any country the way it actually is.  Not China, India, countries in Africa, Russia, South America, London and especial its own country America.  But if you looking to visit or live in this country its a great place to be and people are friendly but can be mean as well.  Hope this help.
