Is America falling apart?

I was thinking about moving to the States after i finish my under graduate degree, but.........

The dollar is very weak (good for buying land or items to re-sale in Europe) not good for a resident.

The American government has to borrow $3 billion dollars a day to keep it's economy afloat.

The economy seem to be tearing at the seems. While other countries are getting stronger (India & more so China).

The price of fuel is at a all high in the States

Yeah, yeah Obama is running and that is great, however is that just a ploy?

They are at door of a Recession

I don't know. America doesn't seem sturdy anymore. Is the "Roman Empire" falling?

I invite your answers

HOWEVER please spare me any bias/prejudice hate e.g. America deserves it, full of fat yanks blah, blah blah you get the picture.

This is real, people.

  1. If you are not patriotic and have no love for America you should not go over there. Either to stay or to work there. US is still the largest economies in the world. If it is bad over there other countries of the world are not in any better shape.

  2. If you're from the UK you should know that our own situation is pretty much the same, yet we have far less capability of dealing with it.

  3. The Economy in Europe and America is pretty much as one in some respects so any downfall there will only be mirrored here and visa versa.

  4. Why go to America when you can go to Australia =D were not as corrupt at the other major countries

  5. No its all ready fallen apart.

  6. "America sneezes and the whole world catches a cold" most of the worlds economy's are going into a recession if they aren't already in one. just depends on where you want to wait it out, obviously if you live in the UK at the moment, go over to America to work and then come back you wont be very well off as your real wages when you come back will have basically halved. im probably going to work in the UK and then move abroad as that way the exchange rate will work for you not against you.

  7. You should go to America your English is appalling, and you would raise the general IQ of both countries at one stroke.

As to you reference to the "Roman Empire", what on earth is that supposed to mean?
