sure is my friend sure is.  look at gas prices.  look at this war we are fighting.  look at the cost of groceries.  look what is happening with the housing market.  look at the unemployment rates and the lack of jobs.  pollution.  drugs.  i could go on forever.

Yes massive criminal immigration and the associated drain on taxes and services allowed. Students getting dumber and reveling in their ignorance. The breakdown of the family and personal responsibility for your conduct. Corrupt politicians by both parties who's primary  goal is to get re-elected so as to prolong their and their families stay on the public trough rather than serving their constituencies. Less freedom of speech. Courts legislating from the bench instead of interpreting and following existing laws. A Two party system that leaves no checks and balances between two very polarized political parties. I'd say yes to your answer. Its going to get worse if Obama and  the far left set up their social welfare state.

the 40's-50's were the best era, now with negative influences, we're screwed.

The funny thing though is that everyone blames it on someone else, but we can actually do something about it by pulling up our pants, stop acting like we're gangster when we're not, stop blaming the man (because he's not after you, do you really think it's his mission to suppress you?), working for our community, etc.

And america doesn't suck, we do have freedom. We could be like North Korea and completely shut off to the world by a psychotic sociopath.

Heck yes america is in some very bad times. really, it flippin is not good. I'd say that the government needs a good roundhouse kick to the face and then balls and then a class on ethics and common sense. I hope Obama helps the situation and also that people will read and get more educated so we can perhaps make some changes around here.

Yes, in all ways. Socially, you have more crazy rednecks trying to deport everyone. Poverty rates are on the rise. The Iraq war is pretty much lost. Gas prices are on the rise. Food prices on the rise. Nobody likes America besides the Jews. So yes, America is becoming a second world country (thanks to the Bush administration and those filthy oil typhoons)

Yes, and it depresses me so much. So much has changed over the last 20 years that our country is almost unrecognizable. I fear that with in the next 30 years, the America we know and love will be no more.
