Is a "pillar of the community" that is secretly an alcoholic, using drugs, is a dysfunctional hypocrite, and who's deeper in debt than anyone in the community...do they deserve respect?

  1. Just who is this America person you're talking about? I don't remember meeting him (or her). Nevertheless, I will humor you.

Judging states and individuals is very different. American is not an individual, therefore, it cannot be judged as such.

To say that an individual is secretly an alcoholic refers only to that person. America certainly has alcoholics, but we are not, as a nation, all alcoholics. Not even close.

I suppose you have heard the adage "Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones." We all live in glass houses when it comes to judging others, and you'd be better off working to make your own house beyond reproach than criticizing others.

    Think about it.

  2. I could care less.

Lefties like you hate the US regardless of where they reside...
