Is America in danger of future terrorist attacks?

Well, yes, there is and always has been a danger of terrorist attack:

Though things like 9/11 are going to be rare. That was a combination of a clever attacker and a defender that was asleep at the wheel.

As long as we fight was in foreign lands, there will be terrorism. Most terrorism is created by foreign occupation, though there's always the domestic fringe element like Timothy McVeigh.

Terrorism is neither  a new threat, nor is it a particularly important threat in the greater scheme of things. It has however recently proved to be a terribly profitable threat and a great way to get votes, so don't expect the hype and fear-mongering in the USA to die down anytime soon.

Sleep easy though, you're more likely to be hit by a bus than be killed by a terrorist.
