It kinda seems like we let Georgia feel like we would support them in reclaiming a part of their country, and now Russia is kicking their ***. Did we use Georgia to start something with Russia?

  1. If you would have really found out what was happening you wouldn't be asking such a foolish question.  Russia took weeks, if not months, to get all their troops in place, waiting to show their former territories, and the U.S., that they were still militarily strong.

  2. No, the US is not pushing Georgia into war or whatever with Russia. Russia is the bad guy in this case.

  3. Apparently, you did not catch Glenn Beck tonight. The President of Georgia was his guest.

Georgia started noticing tanks rolling into their country and told Russia to pull back they did not They kept advancing so finally, Georgia fired defensively. Russia full on attacked and have not stopped.. .

  4. Why did they bomb a part of "their" own country, that's what I don't get.

    edit

Well yeah that's georgia's story but Russia says georgia bombed the break away province then that's when Russia invaded.

  5. Georgia is an Ally to the U.S. And their republic is already divided before this conflict, kind of like north and south korea. We did not push anything and we will be there to defend them if they need our help. We flew 2000 of their troops back home from Iraq so they would be better prepared to deal with russian insurgents.

  6. you bet ye.

  7. No.

    Russia attacked,

    Georgia defended.

USA did nothing but still gets blamed by another Liberal America Hater.
