Is American Airlines Good?

I will be flying international on American Airlines from California to New york on American airlines then to Paris from New York on American, is that a bad service or what?

AA is average I would say though I would expect their service to be better for international since they have to compete against Air France on the JFK-Paris route.

As for TVs on the back of the seats, it would depend on whether or not the airline upgraded the aircraft.  The TVs on the back of seats were introduced after the 767-300 had gone into service.  Delta says they plan to upgrade their 767-300 to include TVs on the back of every seat.  You can check www.seatguru.com to see if the 767-300 has the TV on the back of every seat or if the plane will just have TV monitors dropping from the ceiling.

i have never had a problem with american and i travel a little bit here and there. however NEVER FLY DELTA! omg they suck. for the most part planes have tvs. they arent personal but you can see it pretty well usually. you get personal headset and control your own volume. i suggest bringing your own set tho. hope you enjoy your trip and remember no matter what happens, DONT FLY DELTA!

American Airlines is alright sometimes. The service is ok. It usually varies though.

The 767-200, I believe doesn't have TVs while the 767-300 does.

There have been many people that have received bad service, but the times I've used AA, the service has not been horrible.

Also, the planes are older and a little bit worn out. Usually, that freaks me out a little. The terminals are usually not that great and some parts look REALLY old and gross.

The food sometimes isn't all that great.  It's either nothing special or just plain horrible. Most of the time they don't have those paper bags so if you get air sick that might be a problem.
