Is American Express TrueEarnings a good credit card?

I'm a college student who will be married in less than a year, so I need a lower APR than the student card offered, and I will be shopping at Costco a lot throughout school. There won't be much difficulty at all in paying everything off right away, because I am not much of a spender and I manage my money well.

American Express only approve cards to individuals with good to excellent credit.
