Andrew Johns is not a hero. The only reason he has broken records is cause of his kicking abilities and nothing else. He can't even stay healthy enough to play 90% of games in a year.

I never refer to anyone who plays sport at any level as a hero,, the hero is greatly overused by the media,, I think Johnsy is a sporting great,, so he swore at a touch judge,, so what,, Morris Immea called the head of the cross city tunnel a F wit,, swearing in todays society is rife just sit outside any amusement arcade and listen,, the bloke he swore screwed up and probably cost the Knights a final 4 spot,, Johns exploded venting his frustration at the continual incompetence at NRL officials,, the NRL admitted as much when they said he had erred in not giving Newcastle a scrum for a Manly knock on,, no Johnsy is great probably one of the greatest the game has seen,, he screws up so what do we do crucify him,, I hope he gets off and leads the Knights all the way..

Hero -No  very good player who gives 100% of himself & wears his heart on his sleeve & expects the same from his team mates. I am a bronco,s fan & unbiased.

yes he is a sporting hero but at the same time he has proved he has a bad temper as well but we have to remember he is also human
