Is Anne of the Thousand Days a good movie?

I'm interested in Anne Boleyn and Tudor history, and I was wondering if Anne of the Thousand Days would be a good movie to see. I already saw The Other Boleyn Girl but didn't like it much; I found it quite historically inaccurate. Is Anne of the Thousand Days more accurate? And what are some other good movies about Anne Boleyn?

Yes, "Anne of the Thousand Days" is a good movie. It is head and shoulders above "The Other Boleyn Girl" in historical accuracy and it just a good movie all around. First of all, they do not overdo Mary Boleyn's relationship with Henry as a mistress, show the true relationship with Anne and Henry (I still shake my head over how they show Henry raping Anne) and do not forget important characters like Cardinal Wolsey, Thomas Cromwell, etc. There are other things that "Anne of the Thousand Days" gets correctly that "The Other Boleyn Girl" does not, but I cannot remember them at the top of my head.

As for other movies about Anne Boleyn, I have not watched any others, but I have heard "Henry VIII" (the TV series) and "The Six Wives of Henry VIII" (TV mini series) were pretty good.

Anne of the Thousand days is one of my favorite movies. It is accurate on some levels; its from the early '70's (or late 60's) so they go based on the evidence they had then. But it's really good. :)

I am not sure of other movies about Anne Boleyn; I've been trying to figure that out too.
