Is Anthony Kim the next Tiger Woods, or the next Michelle Wie?

Googie... Great answer. I've seen too many talented sports pros go from hot to cold and never make it big. Bo Jackson, Ricky Williams, Michelle Wie, Anna Kournikova, etc. Flashes of brilliance means little. Good post. I hope he can continue his play. It would be nice to see Tiger with some competition. At one point, I thought Phil Mickelson might be the one, but it never happened.

Tiger Woods - maybe.  Wie - NO.  He eliminated that possibility by winning on Sunday.  Michelle Wie still has no wins on the LPGA tour.  Nike golf department needs to be reorganized and I should be brought in to run it.   No way in h**l would I be paying on potential.

Let Anthony Kim compete for a few more years before passing judgment on his capabilities. He has won his first golf tournament . He has a well rounded game. From this past week's performance he has no apparent weaknesses. He outclassed the competition. As for Michelle Wie, there was too much pressure exerted on a 16 year old. The old man made a serious mistake in making her a professional before she had a proven game. But 10MM is a lot of cash . Unfortunately, it has done nothing to improve the girl's game.
