I guess it's somewhat true. They both are both bigs with a wide range of skills, but still. Is Lamar Odom the guy you want to be compared to for the rest of your career? Can you think of a better comparison?

  1. he plays exactly like odom

    like an aggressive lamar odom

  2. He ain't Lamar, not even close. Anthony is what 6'10''? and he can't rebound for shiet. He's a Jonathan Bender

  3. is this anthony guy lefty too ?

    oaky

i cant really make the comparsion yet cuz i havent seen this play but if he really got talent and skills i am pretty sure he doesnt want to be comapred with LO...

  4. A comparison of style doesn't matter, but should he play in Lamar Odom's attitude night after night then he is putting himself in real jeopardy.

Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing him in preseason games.

  5. Maybe Chris Bosh? I think its the comparison to Odom but without his inconsistencies.

  6. I would say Chris Bosh or Maybe, not sure bout this one but Rasheed Wallace w/o the attitude.

  7. Anthony Randolph is kinda like Lamar, except he can't rebound and push the break like Lamar

  8. if lamar odom actually put time in the gymand didnt drift off into space every 5 games. then yes its a good comparison.

both are lefty and and can play like a big or a gaurd.

lamar gives you 12 rebounds and 15 points a night even though he is somewhat inconsistent offensively, h**l always rebound though

  9. What up Corey,

i think the comparison is just more of a statement of the uniqueness of his skill set for a guy his size.  There are few guys 6 foot 10 that can handle the ball the way Lamar can.

Also Golden State has quite a bit of talent on their roster that if Randolph developed into an Odom they'd be scary.  Off course minus the inconsistency- actually Odom would be an all-star type player- if he could bring it every night.

i don't think nobody wants Odom- i just think he's over-paid and he is mentally for some reason not able to bring it every night- and tends to disappear from time-to-time which is still mind-boggling- if he ever puts it together- which is doubtful being that he's been in the league for so long- he is a threat to get a triple double every night.
