Is Anyone Else Experiencing Record HEAT?

I live close to Washington, DC and we've had Record Heat, the entire week.

Just curious if this is happening in your Area?

We have had our heat trends too here in Florida.  But now we are also getting some rainshowers and thunder, mainly in the afternoon.

Yep.  I think it was last Wednesday was a beautiful day, about 65 degrees or so, and the next day it was 92.  I live in Massachusetts.  Go Red Sox!

I live in New York and it's supposed to be about 97 degrees today. It's also very humid. I have AC on all the time.

Sweltering here, with severe storms that pop up and pass thru quickly.

Edit: I just checked the weather for today and there's a cool spell coming today and tommorow anyway :). Hopefully it willl cool off in your area.

Hey Bo,

in Mass it was 78Deg F at 3:30 am this morning and now it's 10:04 and it's 89Deg F by 2Oclock it will be 96with a heat index of @ 105-108 deg f how's that from thursday it was 69 to 99 roughly in 4-5 days it jumped 30 degrees not counting the heat index like when it's cold you consider the wind chill same deal opposite way>>>Thanks Bo

Not here in Wyoming.  Actually it's been unusually cold, with yet another shot of colder air expected to arrive tonight.  Might be in the 30's across lower elevations by Thursday morning.

I live in the 'burbs of Salt Lake City, Utah, and thank God, no, we haven't had record heat. We've actually had a pretty mild spring. We've even had some days where it's been downright cold, which is good sleeping weather ;)

We had record heat last summer, and I am really hoping it doesn't come back. We had record cold for the winter, too, and that's fine--you can always put more layers on, but when it's hot, you can only take off so much, and then just suffer.

I live in Toronto, and yes, its hotter than its ever been! Very humid, barely any wind, and just a lot of sun !
