Question:

Is Anyone Else Frustrated with Ebay Customer Service??

I feel like all they say at Ebay customer service is "Sorry, we can't help you." I pay them wads of money buying and selling, and I constantly feel marginalized by them! Plus, they're coming out with new rules for sellers this fall that just puts more money in Ebay's pockets! Does anyone else feel like Ebay's ripped/ripping them off?

  1. yeah, ebay's customer service seems to be non-existent

    they never help, ever.

    they banned my account since it was somehow linked to my brother's,

    and i ask them about it but they just tell me it was banned because it was linked to my brothers.

    that helps me none,

    they won't answer anything for you driectly,

    they won't do anything for you directly.

    they don't treat their customers with respect.

    i used ebay a LOT, and gave them a lot of money to list things,

    and then one small thing happens and they won't even take notice.


  2. I am sick of e-bay and what they call pay-pal.  I just had my account broken into and now we are having to pay all bounced fees to our bank account that was connected to pay-pal.  

    We use to do a lot of business with e-bay, but sense they have raised all fees we have stopped.  In fact I hardly ever go to e-bay anymore.  It's been over a two years sense I have been to there web-site.  

    I liked e-bay when it was a true auction site, not now that everybody has a e-bay store.  It's no longer an auction site.

    Well that is my take on e-bay new.

    Just in case someone needs e-bay's phone number.  Here it is.

YES.  They have made thousands of dollars off of me as a seller, and I needed help ONCE with a customer service issue.  I needed them to remove a listing nobody had bid on, but it was past the 12-hr deadline.  It was a major emergency, and they just wouldn't do it.  It made no sense, as them doing that would protect me and also protect their business image due to the nature of the listing.  I talked to 3 people on their bull**** chat system, and they were like "sorry."  And there isno phone # to call them.  Just thinking about it right now makes me so mad, because that was the once and only time I have ever dealt with their customer service.  I quit selling on eBay for a couple of months after that, but ended up having to go back.  I'm ready to jump on board with whoever gives eBay some solid competition in the future, and I know there's a lot of other people that are ready to do the same thing.

         Ebay is a big rip off, you sell or didn't sell they want your money. And the final auction selling charges are more than similar companies offering the same service. And this market it is very hard to sell and get your money in one listing. I strongly beleive ebay has to lower the final auction charges.  And their customer service sucks!!!! they just don't take any responsibilty for the charges, even though the buyer back out.  So it is better to try "Craiglist."

I think ebay needs to start taking more responsibility for the people they allow to use it for example buyers that don't follow through.  How does these people get accounts I thought they were suppose to have credit cards on file and if so why don't ebay charge there account for items they bid on and win then back out the deal.  And the low life sellers that either have garbage to sale or wait a month to mail your stuff when they got paid many weeks ago.  Ebay will not go after people i don't care to use it anymore.
