Question:

Is Anyone Else Troubled by the Anthrax Investigation?

Bruce Ivers is dead, killed by his own hand. He can't defend himself. The FBI has centered upon him as the primary suspect in the Anthrax Investigation, but fellow scientists say that there is no way he could have engineered this deal and taken anthrax from the lab where he worked. On one hand, his friends and coworkers stand staunchly behind him. On the other, some kind of a psychologist has made some serious accusations, calling him a "serial killer and psychopath." There are some doubts about the veracity of her statements. Do you think the Grand Jury testimony should be made public? Is there a chance that the FBI drove this an innocent man to suicide? They had to pay the last "person of interest" some 5 million dollars, plus a lifetime of monthly payments, for ruining his life. Do you think all information on this case should be made public, to ease concern about Ivers' guilt or innocence?

  1. No, I'm not concerned at all.

Tom Daschle is though, I heard him say so.

As a matter of fact, he's often concerned . . . about a lot of things.

  2. The FBI needs to be forthcoming with solid evidence in order to regain some credibility. All info should be made public.

Here's my question about this issue with some answers.

  3. I am very troubled by his therapist going public, what has happened to doctor patient confidentiality?

  4. I do not trust the government at all. I would not trust them to make anything truthful public. All our government needs is a leader like Stalin to complete the process of us becoming a totalitarian police state.

  5. there can be little doubt that the anthrax thing was a part of the whole 91101 theatrics, a contrived effort to instill fear in the american public.

“There are none so enslaved as those who falsely believe they are free.”

  6. Why would the government start telling the truth now after they have been discredited as lying since the Clinton Administration?

And the Bush Administration telling the truth about anything? Fuhgeddaboutit!

  7. Not yet. I give the government the benefits of the doubts and will wait until they make public their evidents. My understanding is the government is still bound by the grand jury investigation. Until this investigation is closed, they cannot disclose anything. It is assumed the case will be closed some time this week and then DOJ will announce their evidents. I will make my judgment at that time. But the whole thing surely looks more weird every day. Now we have the new sorority angle. lol.

But I was really curious about the apparent lack of interest by the public towards this case. It just seems that people are more interested in that horrible murder on that Canadian bus than this case!
