  1. Is it the one in Bry-sur-Marne? If so it is a nice suburb 9 miles east of Paris is very convenient by public transportation. It is a 3-minute walk to the RER station and the train (RER A) will take you to Paris directly in 15 minutes. It is the same line that would take you to Disneyland in the opposite direction. There are trains every 10 minutes and more often during rush hour.

Here is a map of the subway system, your line is the thick horizontal red one: http://www.ratp.info/orienter/cv/cartepa...

Your options for subway passes depending on your needs are:

    - each ticket to or from Paris is 2.80 euros (or 2.24 if you buy a booklet of 10). Your ticket will be valid for a trip from Bry including any number of connections within Paris but as soon as you exit the metro system and go out in the street, it stops being valid.

    - For other trips in Paris, a métro ticket costs 1.50 € individually but only 1.10 if bought as a booklet of 10 (carnet).

    - Bry sur Marne is in zone 4 and Paris in zone 1. A Mobilis day pass for zones 1-4 costs 9.30 € and allows you unlimited travel for a day. (Careful, Disneyland is in Zone 5)

    - A weekly pass for zones 1-4 will also give you unlimited travel for a week for 26.70 €. But it is only valid from Monday morning to Sunday night (can be bought as late as Wednesday for the current week) and you need to buy a 'navigo découverte' card for 5 € and have a passport-size picture to put on the card.

Edit: There is an Appart Valley hotel in downtown Paris if you can still change your reservation and don't mind the price difference:

    Les Jardins du Roy

    5, rue Buffon

    75005 Paris

    Tel : +33 1 53 55 22 00 / Fax : +33 1 42 50 72 39

Edit 2: Don't miss the last RER in the evening. From Châtelet-les-Halles (the most central station in Paris) the last train to Bry-sur-Marne leaves at 00:50 am. If you miss it, you'll have to take the Noctilien night bus, line N34, leaving every 50 minutes from Gare de Lyon. The nearest stop will be Foch-de Gaulle in Neuilly sur Marne, a 15-minute walk to your hotel by the footbridge across the Marne river. Print a local map of Bry (south of the Marne) and Neuilly (north of the Marne).
