Is April 17-30 a bad time to go to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic if Im looking for the party atmosphere?

I'm just out of college and looking for the spring break party scene.

Anytime it is "party time" if you want on holliday in Puerto Plata ! What hotel did you book? For example if booked a hotel in Playa Dorada Hotel complex you will have a disco in each hotel + the famous MANGU disco. Also in the compound you have "Hemmingway Cafe" and "Roadway" the last is also a disco. Of course in the town of Puerto Plata you will find some disco's but more Dominican Style.

If you want to party in the Dominican you should have came in December. Why do you want to Spring Break in DR?. You should go to Cancun, Miami, Panama city florida, Or Jamaica.

It is a good time to go.I just recommend or suggest you to visit as many places as possible since you are going to be here almost 2 weeks.
