Is April a good time to go to Playa del Carmen ?

Hi.  I was there at the very beginning of May, and the weather/water was great.  It's humid, but not near as humid as going in September.  If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me, as I have been there twice.

Yes

The weather is warm and the ocean temps are good for swimming.  It can rain a bit but not for long usually.  There is lots to do and see regardless.  I suggest packing a poncho so if it's pouring you can still get out and walk around if it's not good beach weather for part of a day.

I think it is the beginning of low season so the prices are good and this year Easter is in March not as busy in April.

It's the end of the season.  Chances of rain are higher than December to March.
