Is Aquafina tab water?

Slip of the mind meant tap, though I could go for a beer.

run it through a water filter,

and you made yourself

AQUAFINA.

It's many brands not only Aquafina.

Studies showed that they are a waste of money( no better then tap water) and the because they're so popular the plastic bottles they produce is causing a hazard.

So much so that the Governor of San Diego has put a ban on small bottles of bottled water.

Other States are also considering making the same move.

Alot of eyes are on the bottled water industry.

Total rip off.

in my 29 years on earth i never knew that tab made water or that aquafina was associated with tab at all.

You mean tap water. There was a news report saying it was. They just added a few more ingredients to make it kind of pure. Drink it you tell me.

Not really, but sort of...

Aquafina uses PepsiCo's own purification system, which it calls HydRO-7, that includes charcoal filtration, reverse osmosis and ozonation. PepsiCo states in marketing material that this system removes substances that may be in other brands of bottled water. As of July 27, 2007, PepsiCo put a disclaimer stating the water comes from a "public source" on each bottle. Aquafina uses the term "Purified Drinking Water" on its label. In Canada the current 1.5 L bottle of water displays "Demineralized Treated Water". The bottle also displays that the water is "From the public distribution of Mississauga. ON. Michelle Naughton, a Pepsi-Cola North America spokeswoman said, "If this helps clarify the fact that the water originates from public sources, then it's a reasonable thing to do."

Usually unless a bottle says it is spring water then it will be from a tap. Many will filter it and others, like Aquafina actually purify it. This is much better than filtering.

The same thing like with you home tap water. You can drink it straight, get a basic filter like Pur or Britta, or you can be serious about your water and health and get an actual purification system.

Many times the long term price per gallon of purified water is cheaper than filtered water even though people get the Pur and Britta becasue they are cheap. Well, you get what you pay for.

Yes it is tap water. So is DaSani, which taste better than Aquafina.  It was all over the news about 6 months ago...

There was a news report recently that said most bottled waters are tap water.  They filter it, which you can do at home.  They sell filters you can put on your tap.
