Question:

Is Ashley Furniture Overpriced?

I haven't been to a store, and they don't show their prices online. I like their furniture, but I was wondering what is the relative range of their bedroom sets, living room sets etc.? Do they tend to be more expensive or are they comparable to say harlem or value city furniture?

  1. Definitely shop around, you may be able to find similar style with better quality for better prices.

    Also check out http://www.homelement.com

    Good luck!

  2. I love their furniture and accessories!!!

They are more expensive than Value City but, i believe

the quality, styles, and service are worth it.

You can purchase insurance and if you don't use it (make a claim-5 years) you can use it as an in store credit.

They also include delivery and set up.

Of course depending on your budget, style, and needs

this may not be the best choice for you and it is always

best to be thorough in your search before deciding on

anything that you spend your hard-earned money on.

That is exactly what lead me to Ashleys, there were places

that we basically walked through and right back out the door

    in minutes.

I had also purchased an end table from Value City

and it was nice and i actually saw some other pieces that i

liked but, really preferred the style of furniture at Ashleys and

Rhodes Furniture (recently went out of business).

Cherry House and Havertys are equally nice and comparable

    to Ashleys too.

  3. i got a slaigh bed from Ashley and it was about 2,000.00 but it is so pretty and wonderful furniture i have had mine almost a year and i love it.. i got the headbored, footbored, Tall stand up dresser, long dresser with a mirror and 1 night stand... there prices are alittle high but the Furniture is worth it..

  4. Maybe I just see the c**p, but what I see is definitely c**p.  I would not waste my money on it at all.
