"Witchcraft" is a made up word that means pretty much whatever the speaker wants it to mean.

The witch trials weren't about witches. They were about famine and chaos in Europe, and society seeking out scapegoats. These women weren't really talking to Satan and stealing the milk from their neighbors' cows.

Astrology is an ancient search into any possible connection between human behavior and the stars. There is no evidence to support it. It used to be hand in hand with astronomy, so it helped to contribute to a modern science. That's a good thing.

That's all. No magic, no spells, no satan. Just people believing that planets affect their behavior.
