  1. It's hurricane season, so it's the cheapest time to go, but it's a little risky.  I'd recommend getting trip insurance so you can get a refund if the trip is canceled.  Either that or you could go to one of the southernmost islands like Aruba, Bonaire, or Curacao.  They're outside the hurricane belt.

  2. It is cheaper but please...the chances of a storm/hurricane are really big

  3. Personally, I say yes. I have always gone during late July or August. It's cheaper, and generally less crowded. Biggest risk is tropical storms or hurricanes, but the odds of being in the caribbean and being affected by a tropical storm is fairly low. A nearby storm can produce some nice waves if you like a rougher surf :-)

Temperatures are also alot hotter compared to the winter time period.

  4. sure..just don't don't mind all the hurricane reports from June - Nov....

  5. It's cheaper...so, yes!

  6. The Caribbean and the north of Southamerica is having rains in these days.I suggest you to visit some websites, maybe from local television and get informed about it. The city I live is by the Caribbean sea, and there has been raining every afternoon for about 5 days.

  7. yes, I just got back from barbados(which is too far east for hurricanes) on sunday. there was a lot of tourists but not as much as during the tourist season(spring)

  8. Where in the caribbean?

  9. no its hurricane season.
